JBL 2420/2425 tweeter driver speaker diaphragm 100% Al Flat Wire Coil 16Ω

This is an accurate reproduction replacement diaphragm used in JBL 24xx-series 1-inch throat compression drivers. The models tested and verified with this diaphragm are the models 2420, 2425, 2426, 2427. The tangential surround design offers excellent low-frequency capability, smooth response and improved excursion capability compared to many after market diaphragms.This diaphragm will work in the models 2461 and 2470. They may be adapted for those model drivers by carefully elongating the mounting holes to match the larger bolt circle used on those drivers. Modified diaphragms are not eligible for return. Guide-pin locations are molded into the diaphragm body but are not drilled through, as pin diameters may vary between driver models. These are expected to fit JBL 2421A and 2421B drivers, although this application has not yet been verified. For best reliability, use crossover frequencies and slopes recommended by JBL for your specific driver model. When used in custom systems, larger horn dimensions generally provide improved pattern control and smoother low-frequency performance.
