Certain instruments don’t just make sound—they pull music out of you. The Expressive E Osmose 61-key polyphonic synthesizer and MIDI controller continues a decade of innovation from the Paris-based company that turns digital design into touch that inspires performance. Founded in 2013, Expressive E has redefined keyboard control through touch-based expression and modern craftsmanship. The Osmose extends that vision with an extra octave, giving players more range for two-handed voicings and evolving textures. Its 3D keybed responds to press, glide, bend, aftertouch and vibrato, translating movement into tone with precision. Powered by the EaganMatrix sound engine, it combines physical modeling, FM and subtractive synthesis for sounds that flow naturally between acoustic warmth and futuristic depth. In all, the Osmose embodies Expressive E’s mission—innovative design built with integrity for musicians who play from the heart.
