Selling my Lakland Skyline J-Sonic 5. This is a killer Jazz-style bass with Lakland’s Chi-Sonic single-coil pickups, giving it a clear, punchy, articulate sound with more upper-mid character than a standard J bass. It sits great in a mix and has that “already produced” tone Laklands are known for.
The J-Sonic takes the familiar Lakland 55-60 style platform and adds the unique Chi-Sonic pickup sound. It’s passive, simple, and easy to dial in, with a wide range from warm neck pickup tones to more aggressive bridge pickup bite.
Plays great, feels solid, and works well for worship, pop, rock, studio work, or live gigs. The bass has good clarity, strong note definition, and a comfortable neck.
Condition: Very good. There are some small dings and player wear (all pictured), but nothing that affects playability. Electronics work as they should.
Includes a gator hardcase
Great bass. I’m only selling to thin the herd and because I'm leaning more 4 string than this 5 string recently.
