This is a 1989 Strat Plus with both Vega Trem and Stock Original 2 - point Fender tremolo included. It is in very good shape - fretboard has one minor finish nick on second fret ( pictured) as well as a couple paint marks on the bottom that could probably be removed and a ding on the back side of the top horn -( please see pictures)

Truss rod moves smoothly. Frets and fret board are excellent and it plays like butter. Neck by either Hector Rojas or Scott Buehl of Custom Shop fame- (I can't remember who) Original lace sensors shine with the help of the Fender Mid- boost circuit installed. Battery access is in the back under the tremolo cover. S/N E 967102 ( pictured)

This thing has:1. Amazing and versatile tone palette .Rich response from the sensors and a boost on tap that moves it into humbucker territory on the fly. Noiseless.

2. Effortless playabiliity - uniformly low action with no buzzing. Set up by my friends at National Resophonic here in town.

3. Tuning stability with either the Vega Trem currently installed or the stock Fender floating, the Wilkinson nut and the Schaller tuner make it happen. Almost every time I pick it up , it's still in tune.

4. The Black Pearl finish has that liquid, light/dark refectivity thing going for it. One of the best finishes going for these guitars back then.

Ships securely in a slimline SKS molded case packed deep inside one of those giant Reverb boxes,( but is insured anyway) Guitar weighs 7lbs. 13 oz.
