This Vintage Neumann SM2 Stereo Microphone is in great condition. Its clean and has been recently tested throughout. AC701k Tubes are very quiet. The nickel capsules have been reskinned by the master Siegfried Thiersch, in Germany.

This mic is powered by a Bill Bradley (The Mic Shop) power supply and its currently set to 120 volts. The original 12-pin swivel mount is also included, which makes the placement of the microphone super easy. The mount can rotate the microphone both up and down, as well as rotate sideways. The mic cable is 16 foot long.
The set also comes with an original Neumann SM2 box, which is quite beat up but it holds the microphone well, and a waterproof case. The SM2 box belonged to a different SM2 microphone and its condition doesn’t quite match the condition of the microphone and its other accessories.
The microphone sounds great and works perfectly fine in all polar patterns. The top capsule easily rotates 90 degrees to one side and 180 degrees to the other, making it very flexible for several stereo applications. This microphone is essentially a stereo KM56.
