Fender CS "Wildwood 10" Telecaster Custom - Purple Sparkle with Josefina Pickups & John English Neck Profile

This is a stunner. A 2021 Fender Custom Shop "Wildwood 10" 62 'Relic Ready' Telecaster in a very unique Purple Sparkle thin skin nitro lacquer finish that looks absolutely incredible in person. The sparkle catches the light beautifully and gives it serious character and depth while the thin skin nitro lets the wood breathe and resonate, and will make it age like a fine wine over time.

The body is resonant Ash that gives the guitar excellent acoustic response and that classy, lively Tele Custom feel. Paired with a gorgeous flamed maple neck (Flame AA) with a super rare John English ’59 C profile, this neck is the star of the show. Measuring approximately .860" to .980", it feels amazing in the hand - substantial enough for that vintage Tele comfort but shaped for fast, effortless playing. The dark rosewood fretboard is delicious, the nitro finish on the back feels wonderful, and the whole neck plays like a sports car: quick, precise, and inspiring. Fret ends are perfectly treated and fretboard edges rolled wonderfully. It’s the kind of neck that makes everything feel easy and fun.

Currently loaded with Fralin Blues Specials (with hybrid stagger), this Tele delivers outstanding tone - dynamic, articulate, and full of classic Tele snap with added versatility. It also comes with the original Josefina Campos "WW10" hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups, which command upwards of $500 a set on their own. So, this guitar will come with two fantastic pickup sets that both sound amazing on this guitar. The saddles have been upgraded to a set of high-end Glendale saddles for improved tone and stability, but all of the original parts are included.

The guitar is in amazing shape overall, with only a very light scratch on the back (not through the finish) that you really have to look for in the right light.

Comes complete with the original Fender Custom Shop case, Certificate of Authenticity, Shop Floor Traveler, all original parts, case candy, and paperwork.
