For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig 12x15 parade marching snare from the 1930s. This drum had a few modifications over the years while retaining some great original features. The mahogany shell and maple hoops were painted black and the original Ludwig silver anniversary badge was also covered in the process. The strainer was removed when this was converted to a bass drum and it sounds bebopin' awesome. The ten thumb screw tension rods, claws, and center support studs are still intact and work properly to tune the drum with a Remo Renaissance Ambassador on one side and a clear Ambassador on the other. Add a bass drum anchor on the front and this drum is ready to bop or this could be a cool restoration project by adding a snare strainer and butt plate and wires to make this a snare again and utilize the strap loop.
