Released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of BOSS, the BOX-40 was limited to just 1,500 sets worldwide and contains faithful reissues of the three original BOSS compact pedals:

• OD-1 Over Drive
• PH-1 Phaser
• SP-1 Spectrum

Unlike standard production pedals, these anniversary editions were manufactured in Japan, hand-wired, and individually adjusted to recreate the sound and character of the original 1977 designs.
