BLACK FENDER DELUXE P-BASS SPECIAL – THE ‘BEST OF BOTH WORLDS’ FENDER BASS!
The Fender Deluxe Active Precision Bass Special is a hybrid model that combines the best features of Fender’s two classic basses to create a smooth playing feel and powerful, flexible tone. It has a double cutaway alder P-Bass body and a one-piece maple Jazz Bass “C” shaped neck, topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with medium-jumbo frets. The active/passive electronics include a vintage split single-coil Precision Bass pickup for the neck and a dual-coil ceramic noiseless Jazz Bass pickup for the bridge.
