Selling my natural finish Ovation Magnum I bass. As far as I can tell this has all original components and I'm including with this listing some useful additional items for the instrument. The bass is in good player grade condition, some scuffs on the sides that I've tried to capture in pictures, but overall feels very solid for a roughly 50 year-old instrument. I just had this set-up professionally by a local luthier so it should be ready-to-rock on arrival.

Includes the original case, which is in pretty decent condition as well. I've added strap locks and will include those on the bass in addition to a strap with the corresponding ends. If you'd rather use the original strap buttons I'm including those as well.

I'm also including several sets of strings, some lightly used and some new/unopened. These basses are extra long scale length because of the unique bridge, so you need string sets that taper at or beyond 37 inches. I'm including a couple sets of round wounds (lightly used), a set of chrome flats (lightly used), a set of brand new of Rotosound flat wounds (RS77EL - $50 new - these are on the bass currently and have less than an hour of playtime), as well as an unopened set of extra long scale Labella flat wounds ($50). It's usually necessary to order strings online as many shops don't carry extra long scale length strings - with what I'm including here the next owner should be set for a long time.

The pickups on this are a bit lower output compared to more modern instruments, so be prepared to turn up your amp / pre-amp a bit to match more modern basses.

Famously played by Jah Wobble (PiL), Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth), and Barry Adamson (Magazine) among others. A quirky bass with a lot of neat features - let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
