This is a 1968 Penncrest amp made by Valco for JC Penny's. Two 12AX7s and a pair of 6973 tubes. When I got it it was not working. It has been re-capped and serviced and now works fine.
The 6973 tubes were shot, so I used 6CZ5, which is the preferred plug in replacement for hideously expensive NOS 6973s
