Original Gibson SG Custom truss rod cover in the correct black multi-ply construction with hand-engraved model designation. A genuine period piece from the Kalamazoo era and a great candidate for a vintage SG Custom restoration.
These model-specific covers were often removed during repairs or modifications, making original examples increasingly difficult to find today.
Condition: Good vintage condition with honest age-related wear. Small stress cracks are visible at both mounting holes on the reverse, typical of vintage Gibson covers, but the holes remain intact and functional. Lettering remains clear and easy to read.
Perfect for restoring a vintage SG Custom or completing a collection of original Gibson parts.
