Recent vintage Alvarez AG66SCESH DeLuxe acoustic/electric guitar in IMMACULATE condition. All Mahogany (solid top, double-sided body). Best imaginable guitar of its kind for what I'm asking.
And hooked up to a ToneRite for 100+ hours, so you know it will sound better than any other example of this model.
25.5" scale; 1.75" at nut--fingerpicker's dream. As for the difference in the DeLuxe vs the regular model: this one has a better grade of wood, a better pickup and, to me most critically, volume and tone built into the sound hole, thus avoiding that hideous sound panel the other one has on the side. Soulful sounder, easy player, low action, no issues.
