2021 Gibson Murphy Lab ‘59 Reissue Royal Tea Burst
I had no intention of buying this when I got it last year. I heard all the weird things about Murphy Lab lacquer and frankly thought they didn’t look that realistic. Until I picked this one up. Absolutely stunning. Best Les Paul I’ve ever played. Most importantly, the neck humbucker is phenomenal. Strong, full, but never muddy. Bridge has that tele on steroids thing. Just a great guitar weighing in at about 8.75 lbs. I would love to not sell this but if it goes, it goes.
