Original vintage Gibson RD Standard Bass truss rod cover in the correct black-and-white multi-ply construction. An authentic Gibson piece from the RD-era instruments of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Features engraved "RD STANDARD BASS" lettering and the proper long-bell shape used on Gibson basses of the period. The reverse retains vintage factory markings, further supporting its originality.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with normal age-related handling wear, light surface scratches, and clean mounting holes. No cracks or repairs noted.
A tough-to-find original Gibson part perfect for restoring an RD Standard Bass or completing a serious vintage Gibson collection.
