Original Gibson RD Artist Bass truss rod cover from the late 1970s to early 1980s. Correct black-and-cream construction with the factory engraved "RD Artist Bass" designation.
An uncommon original Gibson part from the innovative RD series, making it an excellent choice for a restoration or period-correct replacement.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with normal age-related wear. Original mounting holes intact, with vintage adhesive residue remaining on the back.
