Carvin CT6 Beautiful Quilt Honey Burst

Absolutely beautiful Carvin CT6 quilt top with case. Condition as shown in photos, very good. Comes with tweed carvin case.

Photos do not do the guitar justice! This is one of the most 3d and reflective figured tops I have ever seen. It is truly a beautiful instrument. It looks less red and more brown in real life. I'd call it a honey burst, it is not very dark.

It plays as good as it looks. Frets are in great condition. Action is very low. Very comfortable to play. 25" scale length, medium jumbo frets, i believe 10" radius. You will likely need to set up to your own tastes.

Weighs 7lbs 4.3oz.

Pickups are carvin sc22. They sound great, like PAF. I was really pleasantly surprised by these pickups. They are much better than expected. This is a great playing and sounding guitar. Mahogany back and sides, set neck design. It sounds like a les paul to me. 60s style neck. Nice sperzel locking tuners. Dunlop straplocks (included in the case). Rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl inlays.

This is sort of Carvins answer to a PRS. I have a very similar looking PRS Custom 24 core. The carvin frankly is much better looking, the figured top on it is far superior to my PRS. Quality of both is about the same--perfect. The Carvin has more of a superstrat/soloist body shape than the PRS. They are very similar but not exactly the same.

This is a beautiful high end instrument. There are a couple of dings on the back from previous owner. Its possible there are others i have not noticed. Please examine the photos, i would grade the instrument as "very good" per reverbs definition. Comes with nice tweed case. One of the latches does not work. Still closes securely though with the other two latches. Unfortunately shipping costs have dramatically increased recently. I have paid over $180 for a label to ship a guitar recently.
