1977 Gibson Les Paul Artisan - Walnut Finish - Triple Pickup "Hearts & Flower" Inlays - Great Sounding Road Warrior
Here we have an awesome 1977 Gibson Les Paul Artisan. This Les Paul is the ultimate Road Warrior that feels as good as your favorite old pair of jeans. The Artisan was introduced in 1976 and was the premier Les Paul of the time. It has a very Ornate "Hearts & Flowers" Fingerboard and Headstock Inlay Design, Gold Hardware, and the Classic Three Humbucking Pickup Configuration as an option. The model featured Gibson's new Series VII Tarback Humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. These High output mid 15k pickups sound great and are very lively. The middle pickup is the classic "Super Humbucker" Tarback Humbucker with a lower output for a more mellow sound in the middle position. All together the guitar sounds amazing with plenty of sustain. The neck plays easily with a 1 11/16 nut width and a .78 " first fret depth to a .97" depth at the 12th fret. The back of the neck has been naturally worn smooth over the years. Other than one newer tone cap the original electronics are intact with 1976 dated pots in place. The guitar has been refreted. A previous owner put a newer Tone Pros Bridge and Stop on the guitar with the Original worn bridge and posts included. Stamped a Factory Second. Overall Good Vintage Condition with lots of nicks, dings, and scratches. No structural cracks or repairs. Included is a modern hardshell case. If your looking for a proven and incredible Les Paul that you can play for many more years you've found it.
