Kawai MM-16

I got this to use with my Kawai K4r and K1r, but have never had time to really dive into it. Supposedly it can be used with non-Kawai synths as well, but I've not tested that. Comes with a manual I printed and wire-bound from the online PDF, and the power supply (shown in pics).

Appears to be in great shape.

The Kawai MM-16 is a hard-to-find multi-purpose MIDI data processor from around 1990, with 17 front-panel faders (16 channel + master). It's a flexible utility box for any hardware MIDI rig.

What it does:

• MIDI Mixing — Individual fader control of MIDI volume across all 16 channels, plus a master fader.
• Continuous Control — Hands-on fader access to MIDI controller data such as modulation, expression, breath control, portamento, and pan.
• Velocity / Key Balance — The 16 faders act as a "graphic EQ" for velocity data, letting you reshape an instrument's velocity response across the keyboard.
• SysEx Editing — 16 Exclusive Edit memory slots: 12 factory presets plus 4 user slots for building your own SysEx setups. (User patches are limited to one data byte per fader and a 16-byte message length — fine for simple parameter control.)
• Setup Memories — 64 Setup patches storing volume, program-change, and MIDI-channel-convert settings.
• Merge & Split — Merge two devices onto a single MIDI cable, or split a signal by MIDI channel, key number, or velocity, including spillover and channel remapping.
