Custom "Keylele" — Kawai Toy Grand Piano + Playable Bass Ukulele Hybrid

A one-of-a-kind, custom-built "keylele" — a real Kawai toy grand piano fused with a playable bass ukulele into a single wearable instrument. Two instruments, one body.

The story: Designed and built specifically for a Cirque du Soleil production — but it never ended up making it to the stage.

The piano: A genuine Kawai — one of the highest-quality toy pianos made — so it's acoustic and properly in tune. Range runs F3 to C6.

The ukulele: The bass uke neck is fully strung and playable, built into the piano body. The soundhole was custom-cut to help it project — it carries well on its own and really opens up with a mic near the hole.

Wearable: Drilled-in shoulder-strap mounts, with the strap included plus extra ring holders so it won't pop loose mid-performance.

Opens up: A single screw at the bottom lets you open the body for inside access.

Room to make it yours: Originally meant to be a "kazookeylele" — the harmonica mount on the headstock was never finished, so that's open for you to add or leave as is. (If you ever wanted it smaller and lighter, the grand-piano "wing" cover can be trimmed down to the box without touching the instrument itself — fully optional.)

Condition: No cosmetic flaws — arrives looking exactly as pictured.
