For sale is a beautiful Black Mountain Instruments Model 580 Mountain Dulcimer, handbuilt in the USA in April 2009 by David Johnston.
This traditional hourglass-shaped dulcimer features a warm natural finish, heart-shaped sound holes, a rosewood fingerboard, and four geared tuning machines for smooth and stable tuning. The instrument is beautifully crafted and produces the sweet, resonant tone mountain dulcimers are known for.
The dulcimer is in excellent pre-owned condition and appears to have been well cared for. The finish is clean, the fretboard and frets show minimal wear, and the tuners operate smoothly. It is ready to play.
