The proprietary scaling system replicates the heavier hammers in the bass and lighters hammers in the treble, while the ebony and ivory key textures ensure confident playing in any climate. But a piano can't just feel good - it has to sound good. The stereo speaker system produces a beautifully clear sound towards both you and the audience. The PX S1000 was specially engineered to sound accurate even when facing a wall, placed on a table, or in an open performance space. Two subtle ports above the keys project the sound towards you, while the rear-facing drivers project towards your audience.

To ensure this piano can transform your performance and include every nuance of detail, Casio have enabled you to control every aspect of the sound. String resonance exposes the harmonious relationships between vibrating strings, while damper resonance adds depth and richness. You will even hear the mechanical sounds of the dampers rising, keys being pressed, and the keys returning to their original position. To really finetune your sound, the PX S1000 includes hammer response and key-off simulation to deliver even finer detail and an overall more natural performance. Along with pianos, you'll also find electric pianos, organs, strings, vibraphone, harpsichord, and more.

Casio Music Space

This product now works with Casio's companion app, Casio Music Space. This app will allow you to access new possibilities with your Casio product whatever your playing ability. It can be used as a learning aid with a vast library of songs which you can play along with. Each note and its duration is shown visually in a piano roll making it easy to find the right notes and see how a piece of music is written. If you're more confident with reading music then you can try out the score mode - use the inbuilt scores or import your own to play along with! Page turns can be done with a pedal so you can focus entirely on your reading and playing.
