The 000-15SM takes the all-mahogany 15 Series and gives it the pre-war treatment: 12-fret neck joint, slotted headstock, longer 25.4" scale. Same minimalist construction as the 000-15M, with the older neck-to-body proportion that puts more body in front of the bridge. Mahogany neck with the Modified Low Oval profile, East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, 1 3/4" bone nut, non-scalloped X-bracing, side-mount slotted-headstock tuners.

Shifting the bridge into a fatter part of the lower bout makes the 000-15SM bloom more under fingerstyle and gives the bass a fuller bottom than the standard 000-15M. Slotted headstock and longer neck make it look and play closer to a pre-war than anything else at this price. The kind of guitar fingerstyle players keep coming back to.

Natural mahogany satin. New from Martin. Comes with the softshell case.
