Vintage 1980 Shiro F-Style Mandolin MIJ Sunburst w/ Hard Case

Up for sale is a vintage Shiro SM-900C F-style mandolin, made in Japan circa 1980 and presented in very good vintage condition.

The SM-900C is one of Shiro's more desirable mandolin models from the late 1970s and early 1980s Japanese instrument era. It features an elegant F-style body with scroll, beautiful sunburst finish, ornate pearl vine fretboard inlays, decorative headstock inlay, multi-ply binding, and original engraved tuners with pearl-style buttons.

This mandolin has the warm, mellow tone that many players appreciate in vintage Japanese instruments and is equally at home as a player's instrument or a collectible example from the golden age of Japanese acoustic production.
