Up for sale is a 1966 Fender Jazzmaster neck. From my knowledge, frets are redone. If so, professional job. Headstock has lost most of the logo. Mystery as to why. Otherwise, looks original. Insofar as function, frets have no wear to note. Cosmetically, headstock and back of neck have typical wear. Nothing to note beyond normal wear for 60 years. Fretboard has no finger wear beyond normal. Pretty good for the age. Truss rod turns fine; when strung, the neck played fine. However, looking down it, it seems to have a little twist. Again, played fine as such. In any case, the truss rod is basically at maximum tension. So whoever set it up in the past took it to about the top of where it can go. Works fine presently in this state.
