For sale is a 2021 Benson Monarch Reverb combo amp in lacquered tweed. This is a beautiful, boutique tube combo in original condition, ordered directly from Benson in the spring of 2021.

The Monarch Reverb is one of those amps that manages to feel simple and inspiring at the same time. It gives you the immediacy and touch response of a great small-to-medium wattage amp, but with enough power and fullness to handle rehearsals, recording, and many live situations. It is rated at roughly 20–22 watts and uses a 1x12 speaker configuration.

Controls are straightforward and musical: volume, tone, and reverb, plus switchable American and British voicing. That voicing switch gives the amp a wider range than the minimal control layout might suggest, letting it move between warmer American-style response and a more forward British character.

This amp is in excellent condition and has been well cared for. The lacquered tweed finish gives it a beautiful vintage look without being another generic black-box combo.
