Selling my Collings OM2H T (traditional series) to make room for a guitar I’ve coveted for a long time. I purchased this new in August 2025 and it is simply extraordinary! It’s in absolute mint condition with no signs of wear, and it has been kept in my temp/humidity controlled guitar room in my smoke free home for the entire time I’ve owned it. For all intents and purposes, it is a new guitar.
This is a very versatile guitar that takes to a pick or fingerstyle play with equal ease. Very responsive guitar and super light at only 4# 1oz. The tone is sublime, with lovely overtones while still having incredible clarity. I don’t think I’ve owned another guitar that's had that combination to the degree this guitar does...just beautiful. Per Collings website..."Our Traditional series instruments (T) offer a slightly looser, more “broken in” feel and tone, featuring a rounder high end and fuller low midrange, along with our Traditional aesthetic appointments, such as gold MOP inlays and custom wood purflings and rosette. Traditional models also feature an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer body finish, abbreviated soundboard graft (tongue brace), and a unique neck construction designed to complement the looser feel and voicing, along with our Traditional neck carve. Due to the vintage-inspired vision for these guitars, Traditional instruments are offered with limited custom options.”
