This guitar was completed 10/9/24. It is a PRS DGT wood library 10-top with maple top in a copperhead finish with natural korina back and neck with an ebony fretboard. It weighs in at 8.4 lbs.

I wasn't aware of korina before I bought this, but AI gives a good description....Korina is a premium African tonewood favored for its stunning looks, warm resonance, and distinctive mid-range "bark". Famous for its use in iconic 1950s Gibson models, it is highly prized as a lighter, slightly brighter, and more articulate alternative to traditional Mahogany.

The tone and playability of this guitar is beyond belief. The woods are stellar. I can gaze at the the woods all day and am simply amazed at how beautiful it is. This guitar also has a satin finish rather than a high gloss. I've found this accentuates the beauty of the top notch woods and never shows smudges etc.

I've babied the guitar and the case. The guitar has been lovingly and gently played. I've carefully inspected it and the only imperfection I can find is that there's a slight discoloration or marring of the top edge of the bridge pickup cover which extends about 1/2 way to the low E string. It was likely caused by my wrist resting on it? I tried to show it in the last picture. I think the picture makes it look worse than it really is, but it is there.

The case? It's the nicest guitar case I've ever seen....really....maybe too nice!!! I was always afraid of smudging it in some fashion. In actuality it has a little nick in the covering....it almost doesn't seem worth mentioning, but it's there and you can see it in the second to last picture.

I've played in a cover band for years and I haven't found a more versatile and wonderful guitar than this one. If you're aware of this model, you likely already know what tone beasts they are! Why am I selling? I'm starting to get up there in the years and my band activity is starting to wind down. So, if you're looking for one of these guitars you won't be disappointed with this one.
