ISP Technology ISP G-STRING II 2000’s - Chrome

For those who are not familiar with this leading technology, this is one of the best noise-reduction/downward expander systems in the world, and this pedal is the MKII “deluxe” version, the “G String” model: Known as the four cable method. (Functions in Smp input & effects loop).

This Gate is amazing as it allows both chords & single notes to ring out without choking off like most other noise gates do.

It has a single knob to adjust the sensitivity, decay & sets the thresh threshold below which the sound is cut off. As stated it’s designed to be connected in a 4 cable manner (which the basic version, the non-G String—doesn’t have) in order to isolate your GUITAR INPUT SIGNAL NOISE & overdrive/distortion pedals, anything that makes a lot of noise.

To be clear, most importantly this pedal quiets your AC Guitar Input Signal by use of its designed Input Detector circuit then the use of a Logic Rail to QUIET the NOISE made throughout the PREAMP CIRCUIT so that a quieted signal can go out of the effect loop send to time based effects like reverb, delay even chorus, phase etc… The quiet signal then is connected to the effects loop return where it is connects…straight to the amps Phase Inverter, then to the Power Section of the amp.
