2000 Guild USA X-170 Manhattan.
Beautiful transparent orange! In excellent condition. Comes with the original hardshell case.
Body: 17-inch fully hollow-body with a slightly thinner profile (approx. 2.5 inches deep). Features a laminated flame maple top, back, and sides.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, pearloid block inlays, and a 1.625" (1 5/8") nut width. Full C profile (IMO).
Pickups: Two Guild HB1 humbuckers (Fender era)
Hardware: Gold-plated hardware, Grover tuners, and a licensed Guild Tremolo tailpiece.
Controls: Two volume, two tone, 3-way pickup toggle switch, master volume. Master volume knob is not original, but is Guild and model correct.
Anti-Feedback: Features a thin block of wood situated under the bridge to connect the top and back, which tames unwanted resonance while maintaining a rich, warm, and acoustic-like jazz tone.
*This guitar might be known as the X-170T Mars Edition*
Unlike the standard X-170, the Mars Edition included a built-in coil-split toggle switch, which on this guitar has since been replaced with the master volume.
