This is a very hard to find Peavey PXD Vicious 1 Flying V.
The model was eventually the base for Devin Townsend‘s flying V. It has Gotoh locking tuners. The guitar is sold As Is. It has typical wear from playing but nothing major or anything that impacts playability. See photos.
Item is available for pickup only as it comes with a very large hard case.
The PXD Vicious series features a few distinct variations and highlights:
- Initial Release (2010): The standard PXD Vicious featured a stylized, aggressive V-shape, active pickupa and a bound mahogany body.
- Devin Townsend Signature Model (2012): Peavey also partnered with metal musician/producer Devin Townsend to create a specialized 7-string baritone version of the Vicious model, which began shipping in early 2012.
