Late 1965/Early 1966 Fender Mustang solidbody guitar with original hardshell case and tremolo bar!
The pots both date to 1965. The neck is dated to January 1966. The serial number on the plate is 1965/66.
The finish is the original Dakota Red with finish checking throughout. It has some nicks and dings, as does the neck. The "Offset Body" decal has worn off of the headstock. But, it's still overall in very good condition. The pickup switching electronics are pretty smooth. The guitar plays great. It sounds very versatile. To me, Mustangs encapsulate the true Fender "tone" in a guitar. You get so many variations.
The case has a homemade "THE FUGITIVES" painted on the top. So, a previous owner was in a local band with that name! Pure 60s vibe with this guitar and case!
Trades considered.
International buyers are welcome, but I do not have any control over your country's customs procedures, that includes delivery times being longer. I've sold many guitars internationally, but sometimes the delivery is delayed due to customs. I ship my merchandise QUICKLY, but I have absolutely no control over any other country's inspections, duties, customs, etc..
