This Rickenbacker 4001 bass was made in November 1975. The bass shows pretty heavy cosmetic wear including several scratches and scuffs associated with regular use. The laquer on the back of the neck is worn and cracking in several places. We have found these cracks to be superficial and do not affect the functionality of the bass. There are several belt buckle dings that we tried to capture in the photos but can be a little difficult to see at some angles. The electronics are functional in most pickup positions but some are not functional. This item could likely use some refurbishing or replacement of some electronics. There is a bolt missing from one of the tuning machines. The hardshell case shows very significant wear that may affect the cases functionality. Please look closely at photos for condition specifics. We are happy to provide additional photos at your request.
