JHS Morning Glory V4 overdrive. Sure, you've heard of it. It is a "transparent" overdrive pedal, which means that it will give your natural guitar tone a bit more grit without favoring any frequencies (as opposed to, say. the mid-bump of a Tube Screamer). The V4 model has a switch to go from low to higher gain, and a jack for an external switch to change modes without flipping a switch. There is a Hi-Cut switch on the side to suppress highs a little.

I bought this pedal in 2023 to work in tandem with a Wampler Tumnus. The Morning Glory was an always-on pedal, while the Tumnus was used for shaping the solo tone and bumping the volume. My Strat and Tele really benefitted from it. I just obtained a Jazzmaster, which doesn't quite react the same way. I just obtained a JHS Morning Glory Clean, which will do the Jazzmaster more justice, and so am looking to sell this V4.

The pedal has been on a few gigs and rehearsals but has spent most of its time in my smoke-free home. No dings or scratches. I left the dual-lock on the bottom. The pedal comes with the original box and packing material, as well as the instructions leaflet.
