• Case: Includes Original Gibson Case in good shape, especially considering the age! Light cosmetic wear externally including some scrapes and scuffs, fraying to the edges, but no major amount of material is gone or blemished. The inside is nice and clean, and the latches all close as expected; this will do a great job adding a layer of protection!

• Condition: This is a wonderful sounding vintage acoustic guitar! We are listing this as "fair" because of two surface cracks; one that stems from the inside border of the pickguard that travels up to the soundhole, and another on the opposite side of the pickguard (the treble side) where you can also spot a few instances of finish checking. This is a common issue with these 70s Gibsons where the glued-down pickguard did not allow the wood to breath properly and instead lead to cracks. There is also some blemishes at the heel, though nothing structural or anything that would hinder playability. Otherwise no other cosmetic wear stands out in isolation. There are light signs of play and use throughout the years in the usual spots including some light bucklerash to the back. The neck is straight and smooth with only light surface-level blemishes that do not hinder playability, and the frets are polished. The frets themselves show light dips and play wear throughout, but still have plenty of life left! The headstock has superficial scratches to the front side and some light scrapes to the top edge. This is a great acoustic guitar ready to be played, but for the surface cracks we are listing this item "As-Described" so be sure to inspect photos carefully before purchase!
