The 1928 Gretsch Broadkaster "Style B" is a coveted piece of vintage banjo history. Introduced in August of that year, these banjos are highly regarded for their rich, resonant tones and iconic celluloid-clad resonators.

The Style B was one of the upper-tier professional models in the initial Broadkaster line. Key features of this specific era include:

The Pot: Constructed with Gretsch's innovative one-piece cast metal rim and flange unit. Doehler die-cast nickel-bronze design.

The Neck: Built with a two-piece walnut or maple neck.

Fingerboard: Premium ebony with ornate pearl inlays.

Resonator: Highly decorative, featuring celluloid that has been intricately engraved, inked, and painted.

Non-original hardshell case has dings in the tolex but is gig-worthy. Ships to lower 48. No international. No P.O. boxes. No trades.

Return policy: happy to take a return if the item doesn't match the description&photos. If there's shipping damage we'll get it sorted quickly. But I can't take any more "bought this by mistake" returns. One-man operation here. The last straw was a guy who complained an item was "in too good condition". Anyway, please triple check your order before purchasing. Thanks for understanding.
