Yamaha 9000 Series Recording Custom Drum Kit 22-16-13-12" in Garnet Red - Birch Shells Made In Japan 1982

1982 Yamaha 9000 series drum kit (early 'Recording Custom') in 'Garnet Red' wrap. Birch 6-ply toms and 8-ply kick drum.

New Evans G1 clear heads on the toms may have a few stick marks from being demo'd in the shop.

Here are some details:

Bass Drum 22" diameter x 14" depth: 

• Chrome lugs have some light pitting and faint light scratches.
• T-rods and claws have some light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Wrap has some faint marks and swirls and few light scratches. Hard to photograph. No significant wear or damage.
• Hoops have some light wear and tiny dings around the edges. A small patch of tape at the bottom of the batter side where the pedal attaches. Most wear is on the bottom where the hoops make contact with the floor.
• Interior and edges in nice condition.

Floor Tom 16" diameter x 16" depth:

• Chrome lugs have some light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Hoops have some faint light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Wrap has some faint marks and swirls and few light scratches. Hard to photograph. No significant wear or damage.
• Legs have some sharpie marks on them as well as the top side of the leg brackets, faint and not very noticeable.
• Top edge has a few extremely tiny and shallow dings in one spot. Overall edges in great condition.

Rack Tom 13" diameter x 9" depth:

• Chrome lugs have some light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Hoops have some faint light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Wrap has some faint marks and swirls and few light scratches. Hard to photograph. No significant wear or damage.

Rack Tom 12" diameter x 8" depth:*No snare/tom stand included.

• Chrome lugs have some light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Hoops have some faint light pitting and faint light scratches.
• Wrap has some faint marks and swirls and few light scratches. Hard to photograph. No significant wear or damage.

Double tom holder functions well. It has some marks, scratches and light wear.
