I purchased from Gibson in 2021. CTS pots. It came with Burst Bucker PAF style pickups. I am selling with the Throbaks installed and the original Burstbucker Gibson pickups. The weight is 9 lbs 2 oz.

Incredible top with wood grain, knots, subtle flame and quilt. Better quality maple changes the tone of the guitar. The color is Unburst that resembles Jimmy Page #1 guitar. Name, Piney The GOAT. Like an original burst with more horse power. The Throbak Paul Kossoff pickups I believe are the most special. I have a youtube video of these pickups on this listing. They have that amazing throaty sound and when you turn down the volume, the guitar is extremely clear. I actually like to play with gain up and the volume on 1.5 and 2.5 in the middle position. With a good tube amp, this just sounds divine! All my guitar buddies try to buy these pickups from me. The pickups alone are $1,000 with aged nickel covers. Gibson guitars from 2019 to now are the best they've ever made since the late 60s.

The guitar has typical wear for playing and gigging for 5 years. I've gone to a made to measure murphy aged Les Paul so I am selling this one. This is a tiny dent on the back edge buttom of the guitar. I have taken great care of it. It has maintained a professional setup from a talented luthier in Long Island NY.

This guitar plays everything! Hard rock, classic rock, blues, country, funk, jazz, metal. With the 500k pots you can tune in to any sound you want. That's why I call these Gibson Les Paul 50s and 60s models The Goat. I believe they are simply the most versatily guitar ever made. Even vintage LPs have a specific sound for certain applications. This thing does everything well.
