How's it going! You're looking at a Vintage 1970s Epiphone FT-120 Acoustic Guitar - Made in Japan with Original Case!
Crafted in Japan between 1976 and 1979, this Epiphone FT-120 acoustic guitar was built at the renowned Matsumoku factory in Matsumoto during the coveted Norlin era. The comfortable Grand Concert style body rests naturally against your chest, making it very comfortable to play whether sitting or standing. Its three-piece mahogany neck features a fast, slim-to-medium neck profile that offers a confident, modern grip without feeling too bulky. Sonically, this FT-120 punches well above its weight class, delivering a bright, crisp, and beautifully balanced acoustic voice with clear articulation. The mahogany back and sides carry a warm, woody mid-range punch that prevents the highs from sounding too harsh. It responds incredibly well to light fingerpicking, yet has plenty of projection and headroom when driven hard with a pick for rhythm strumming. Cosmetically, this guitar is in great used condition showing honest, light playwear from previous use (See photos provided). The neck is straight on this guitar and the truss rod is functioning. The intonation is spot on and the action is excellent. There is little to no fret wear apparent from previous use and this guitar has been professionally set up with new strings, weighing in at 4 pounds, 7 ounces. Complete with its original, vintage-branded Epiphone script-logo chipboard case, this full package presents genuine 1970s character and historic Japanese craftsmanship for players or collectors alike. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this Vintage 1970s Epiphone FT-120!!!
