Instrument Description
This 4/4 full‑size violin comes from an established workshop in Chengdu and has been personally selected for its warm, resonant tone and responsive handling.

• Tone & Playability: In my evaluation, this violin offers a warm, projecting sound across all four strings; quick bow response with clear articulation. Suitable for intermediate students, serving as an ideal step‑up instrument from a beginner outfit. • Top: Select spruce with fine, even grain.
• Back & Sides: Flamed maple (two‑piece back) with attractive tiger‑stripe figuring.
• Neck: Flamed maple.
• Fingerboard: Ebony.
• Varnish: Hand‑applied amber‑brown oil varnish, warm and deep.
• Purfling: Inlaid (not painted).
• Bridge: Professionally fitted, high‑quality bridge.
• Edge work: Clean channeling and rounding, well finished.

• Pegs: Ebony with boxwood accents.
• Tailpiece: Dark composite with four built‑in fine tuners.
• Chinrest: Rosewood.
