This has brought the action incredibly low, making fretting the instrument much easier.  Sound: The 1979 Precision Bass sound is iconic for its heavy, aggressive midrange grind, powerful and booming low-end response, and high end snappiness, making it a defining tone for bassists throughout the 70/80's punk rock and disco scenes. While it retains the classic passive P Bass Thump, the structural and component choices of the late CBS era gave it a distinct sonic footprint compared to its 1960's predecessors.  Cosmetic: There are a few dings on the instrument which is unsurprising considering its age. These marks are purely cosmetic.  Electronics: Tested on site by our in store engineers and all working perfectly. Condition Rating: 3
