Kramer Pacer Classic, Radio Blue Metallic - Used - Mint
In 1982 Kramer introduced the Pacer and almost overnight became the guitar of the decade. The offset double-cutaway body, the beak headstock, and the locking tremolo were the specifications that defined hard rock and metal for a generation of players, and the list of artists who played Kramers in their peak years reads like a who's who of the era. The Pacer Classic is Kramer's faithful tribute to that original instrument — the same offset alder body, the same beak headstock with matching painted finish, the same 25.5" scale and 22 fret maple neck. The K-Speed SlimTaper C profile is fast and comfortable under the hand, the 12" radius maple fingerboard is responsive and consistent, and the licensed Floyd Rose with R2 locking nut keeps everything in tune through whatever the whammy bar has to offer. Set up and ready to shred.
The Alnico 5 Classic humbuckers wear double white open coils that are unmistakably period-correct in appearance and voice — each with its own independent volume control plus a master tone, running through a 3-way mini toggle. The combination delivers the aggressive, punchy midrange and harmonic-rich high end that the Pacer format was built around, and the Radio Blue Metallic finish against the white hardware and double white pickups is exactly right for what this guitar is trying to be.
Condition is Mint. Very clean with nothing to report. Check the photos. No case included.
