Selling my pair of BFM Titan 45 subwoofers, based on the Bill Fitzmaurice Titan 45 design and loaded with B&C 12BG76 12” 1000W neodymium subwoofer drivers.

These were custom built in 2021 by a meticulous professional cabinet builder. They are internally braced, built from 1/2” Baltic birch plywood, with a doubled baffle, sealed construction, Speakon connector with pull-through design, and finished with three layers of Duratex.

I absolutely love these subs. They sound much, much better than the typical prosumer powered 18” subs — tighter, faster, cleaner, and more musical, while still having serious output. The B&C neodymium drivers have a 76mm voice coil and were always run conservatively with a limiter set to 500W.

These were church used only. They never left the church, were never gigged, never toured, and were never abused.

Price is $1,500 each or $3,000 for the pair. Price is for one, but I would strongly prefer to keep them together. These cost considerably more to build and are far beyond typical off-the-shelf prosumer subs in construction and sound quality.
