I’ve been a professional Luthier full time for 20 years now and I dedicate a lot of my time to create these custom modded guitars. All of these I do are 100% overhauled everything from fretwork to high quality hardware. This was purchased from a dealer as a husk with a broken headstock. it was a clean break and was repaired with medium open time structural epoxy. The exothermic reaction as this epoxy cures causes it to seep deep into the mahoganys loose grain and strengthens the wood far beyond the repair joint. Thus creating a very dependable repair That’s stronger than the mohogany alone. You can see the repair but can’t feel it. No spray booth so it hasn’t been oversprayed. its prepped to that point so it is an option if you want to hide it with a tinted lacquer.
The bridge and tailpiece are advanced plating. The pickup are onyx buckers, bridge is 16.9 k and neck is 8.3 k. Control cavity has been shielded with stewmac shielding paint. 2 30mm Sanwa arcade buttons as intermittent kill switches. Master volume and tone are push pull 500k pots to split the coils independently. The volume is wired with a treble bleed to keep sound intact when being dynamic with the volume knob. Matching anodized green washers on the Gotoh tuning machines and the Switchcraft output jack with metal plate.
