Dr Z JAZ 20/40 Head

This 2009 Dr Z Jaz 20/40 is rare one. They made about 40 of them. They eventually rebranded as the Z-Lux. It's essentially a double deluxe. 4 - 6V6 power tubes with a half power switch that shuts off two of the tubes. This thing is a versatile tone machine. Blackface to VOX to Tweed/Marshall. Prefer Nashville pickup, but open to discussing. Had the amp back to Dr Z for retube, etc., a couple years ago and it's barely been played since.

The ½ power switch along with the master volume will allow you to dial the JAZ in for any size room. Sparkling, full bodied clean head room to lower wattage output tube grind…it’s all in there.

Full bias modulating output tube tremolo gives you a depth not heard with pedals or opticoupler circuits. You get deep pulsating swells of tremolo from the JAZ. The reverb circuit is lush.

The front panel features controls for volume, full EQ, master, speed, depth, and reverb. Around back are speaker outs (4, 8, and 16) and the ½ power switch. The reverb and tremolo can be turned on and off via the supplied 2 button footswitch.

This amp head is lightly used, functions perfectly, and sounds incredible! We'll ship it to you packed nice and safe. Comes with a Studio Slip cover that has a pocket on one side.
