Up for sale is an Arnold Montgomery custom hard rubber Alto Sax mouthpiece, Luna 7. As advertised, it is a ‘vintage sounding mouthpiece with a medium high rollover baffle and a large chamber. Created in the vein of the great Classic Jazz mouthpieces of the 40’s and 50’s, the Luna has a lush tone with more focus and projection without being overly bright.’ Purchased from Mr. Montgomery directly a couple of years ago, it has been played sparingly, and remains in mint condition. Sells new on the AM website for $179.99. Asking $150 for this eye-catching beauty. Price is negotiable, and open to offers. Can sell with a Rovner ligature and cap for an additional $20.
