Fender Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster ST68 Reissue CIJ 2007 - Vintage White

A beautiful example of Fender Japan craftsmanship, this 2007 Crafted in Japan ST68 captures everything players love about the iconic late-'60s Stratocaster. Featuring the classic large CBS-style headstock, maple neck, and timeless Vintage White finish, it delivers the unmistakable look and feel of the guitars associated with Jimi Hendrix's legendary era.

Japanese ST68 reissues have earned an outstanding reputation over the years for their exceptional build quality, consistency, and attention to vintage detail. Many players consider them among the finest vintage-style Stratocasters Fender has ever produced outside the USA, offering a level of craftsmanship that continues to make them highly sought after today.

This guitar is in excellent overall condition. Aside from a few extremely minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with careful use (please refer to the photos), it presents beautifully. Even the neck pocket is remarkably clean, with none of the typical finish cracks so commonly found on Stratocasters, including many that have seen far less use.

The electronics have been thoughtfully upgraded with a pair of USA DiMarzio HS-3 (DP117) pickups in the neck and bridge positions while retaining a Fender Texas Special middle pickup. The result is a fantastic combination of classic Strat sparkle and added smoothness, producing bright, glassy cleans, rich midrange, and singing lead tones with excellent balance across all pickup positions.

The frets are in outstanding condition with only minimal, even wear and absolutely no divots. It has been professionally set up by our tech with comfortable low action, excellent intonation, and is ready to play right out of the box.

The following work has been done: full fretboard cleaning, fret polish, pickup height adjustment for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D’Addario 10-46s installed. String height at the 12th fret on the low E is right at 2.2 mm - set for comfortable playability.
