For sale is my Yamaha YTS-200ADII tenor saxophone, and I hate to see it go but it's time to make room for a couple other projects in the shop. This horn has been a real workhorse for me—super reliable and fun to play—and it's been fully serviced recently so it's in prime playing shape right out of the case. No fuss, no extra setup needed. The pads are all perfectly leveled with zero air leaks, the springs are strong and have that extra snappy feel that makes fast passages effortless, and the keys are in perfect regulation throughout, giving you smooth, quiet, and responsive action from the lowest notes all the way up. It blows freely with excellent response in every register, spot-on intonation, and that classic warm yet projecting Yamaha tenor tone that works great for everything from jazz and rock to concert band or just practicing at home.

Aside from some normal cosmetic stuff that comes with any used instrument—scratches, scuffs, and a few minor insignificant dings (including one very small bump at the bottom of the horn that doesn't affect playing or sound whatsoever)—this saxophone is in overall excellent condition. It still looks sharp for its age, especially considering how well it's been maintained, and mechanically it's outstanding. These YTS-200ADII models are built tough and hold up incredibly well over time, which is one of the reasons they have such a strong reputation among players stepping up from beginner horns or looking for a dependable daily player without breaking the bank on a pro model.

It comes with three brand new Vandoren reeds plus a few more to get you started right away, along with the original case and whatever accessories were with it. I've always appreciated how these Advantage series Yamahas balance playability and durability so well, and this one has never let me down.
