Serial number 001, with factory pickup. Nickel-plated brass body (the better to hear you with my dear), sunbursted maple neck (walnut burst) with rosewood fingerboard. 32 3/4” scale, ivoroid dot inlay, 16 frets clear of the body with 23 frets total. A prototype purchased new from the manufacturer by Willie’s American Guitars. Never sold but rented on occasion. The bell-brass body adds strength to the note and a long sustain. Everything factory-original including wood thumbrest and black coated tailpiece to match the headstock overlay. We believe that less than a dozen of these were ever made because of high expense. Comes with factory papers, Highlander external power supply for the pickup, plus other case candy.
