Threshold FET nine/e stereo preamp
Here is a fantastic solid state preamp from 1990 or so with outboard power supply. Sounds great, has a fairly flexible phono stage built in, also a useful summed mono mode, would make a great addition if you are building a vintage high-end type system. Look at the build quality and compare to cheap units made today that get hyped on various audio sites. Includes original manual. Great condition -- note, I have a few of the top screws removed so it's easier to open if you want to adjust the phono stage. I should be able to find them, but they aren't really necessary in use (they require a very small allen wrench).
As far as I can tell, everything working correctly -- there is some slight noise when turning the volume knob, especially at the lower range -- typical of stepped attenuators, and nothing to really worry about.
I really love this preamp, only selling due to impending relocation. If you are local you are welcome to come and listen to it and the other gear I have it set up with.
Any questions please let me know, and thanks for looking--
